The Foundation of Stars welcomes you to its website.   

The contents of the Foundation’s website are designed to inform the visitor about the Foundation’s history, policies, events and other pertinent information. 

The information contained on the Foundation’s site comes from numerous sources both internal and external to the Foundation.  The Foundation guarantees the authenticity of the information at the moment it is posted on its website.  However, the Foundation does not guarantee the accuracy of any document, statistic or other content once it has been altered or modified in any way before or after it is downloaded. 

The hyperlinks with other sites from the Foundation’s site in no way signify that the Foundation of Stars endorses or approves the content of these sites nor the products or services offered thereon. The Foundation disclaims all responsibilities as to the accuracy and the reliability of the information contained on any site accessed via the Foundation’s site. 

Please note that these sites may contain a confidentiality agreement that differs from the one on the Foundation of Star’s website. 

CONFIDENTIALITY AGREEMENT 

General Statement 
The Foundation of Stars (« The Foundation ») is committed to respecting all laws governing the confidentiality of all personal information obtained from its donors.  

Gathering of personal information 
The Foundation gathers only nominal information from its donors, such as name, address telephone number and e-mail address.  This information is provided to the Foundation on a voluntary basis.   This information will not be sold or transmitted to a third party without the prior consent of the donor.  The donor may request at any time to be excluded from direct mail or telephone solicitation campaigns. The donor may also ask, at any time, for corrections to be made to the information provided to the Foundation.  

Cookies 
The Foundation of Stars does not use cookies. 

Security 
The credit card transactions made on the site of the Foundation of Stars are secured by a Secure Socket Layer (SSL) license.

Currency of transactions
All On-line donations will be charged to your credit card in Canadian dollars.

Refund policy
All donations are not refundable.
